This section contains examples of the 100 page test data initially used in search engine query comparisons, i.e. by specifying search keywords and then comparing keyword-based text retrieval versus ontology-based search (see Information Retrieval and Semantic Web). The test data was then replaced by a corpus of approximately 250,000 pages. Each page contains a small set of text relating to either sea travel or air travel. OWL ontologies have been created for use in a query expansion process so that related pages (though not necessarily containing initial search terms) may be identified, retrieved and measured in terms of precision and recall.
